Chef Jordan & Anna Hewes
Chef & Owner Operators
Anna, a local to Pensacola, Florida, and Jordan, hailing from Garden City, Kansas, found their home here together. Anna returned multiple times, drawn by the beautiful beaches and supportive small business vibe, while Jordan moved in 2012, inspired by her dream of opening a bakery in this vibrant community.
Anna focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff, while Jordan, with an Associate of Arts in Baking and Pastry and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Sullivan University, excels at team-building and fostering creativity within their bakery.
Their food industry journeys began early—Anna at Waffle House and Jordan in a bowling alley concession stand. Over the years, Jordan developed her skills as a pastry chef in various renowned establishments, while Anna discovered her passion for making guests feel special. Anna’s involvement with Craft started as a helping hand to Jordan and evolved into management, where she oversees cake orders and customer relations.
Jordan finds inspiration in nostalgia, crafting baked goods that evoke cherished memories, while Anna is dedicated to community engagement, believing in the importance of positive social impact.
Jordan and Anna envision Craft Gourmet Bakery as a source of pride for the community—a warm, joyful space that fosters camaraderie and gives back to those who supported them. Outside of work, Jordan dreams of building a family with Anna, while Anna’s commitment to community drives every aspect of Craft, reflecting their shared goal of enriching the lives of those around them.

With a decade of dedicated experience, Richard Chapman has become a cornerstone of our team, working side-by-side with Chef Jordan.
His expertise in viennoiserie has been vital in the development of our signature recipes and baking processes, ensuring we consistently deliver the highest quality products. Over the years, we’ve witnessed Richard’s remarkable growth both in his craft and his personal life, especially as he recently celebrated the joyful arrival of his first child. Richard’s commitment to excellence and his passion for baking shine through in every delicious pastry he creates.

Alyssa McMillan
Lead Pastry Chef
Alyssa McMillan is a valued Craft veteran, bringing five years of experience to our bakery.
Specializing in coordinating dessert and gelato production, she plays a crucial role in developing our specialty and holiday menus. Alyssa’s expertise in cross-station coordination and her oversight of daily kitchen operations ensure that everything runs smoothly. Her unwavering dedication and organizational skills make her an essential part of our team—the bakery simply wouldn’t flow without her!

Crystal Johnson is a vital member of the Craft Gourmet Bakery team, renowned for her expertise in maintaining the highest standards of flavor and decoration quality.
With a passion for innovation, she develops and implements new techniques that enhance our cake programs. Crystal also coordinates filling production and hosts cake tastings and consultations, ensuring that each client receives personalized attention. Her unmatched dedication and creative vision have significantly shaped Craft’s unique identity and personality, making her an influential voice within our bakery.

Riley Edwards
Front of House Manager
Riley Edwards excels in overseeing front of house operations and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at Craft Gourmet Bakery.
With a keen eye for detail, she develops seasonal coffee menus and specials that delight our patrons. A seasoned professional, Riley understands kitchen operations and their impact on a successful day of sales, seamlessly assisting with order taking and coordination. She also hosts cake tastings and consultations, providing a personal touch to every experience. Known for her fun and warm demeanor, Riley creates an inviting atmosphere that makes every customer and employee feel right at home in the bakery.

Catherine Abner
Social Media Manager
Cat is a creative multitasker with a passion for storytelling through visuals and social media.
She ran her own event and commercial photography business for four years, working with a wide range of local clients—from Gallery Night and Island Fights to social media agencies and small businesses like Dog House and The Farm.
She’s great at working with teams, collaborating with partners, and bringing ideas to life online. Outside of media work, Cat has also been a barista, roaster, and admin assistant at a local coffee roastery. Whether she’s behind the camera, behind the counter, or behind a screen, Cat brings creativity, dedication, and a lot of personality to everything she does.
